I have drum in my heart, and have been sick with this loss. I had a very nice talking drum which I had mastered and used for many years, it was struck by my step-son a month ago (subsequently it is dead). On a recent trip to Seattle, I purchased a beautiful djembe and loved it so. I played and played for the duration of my trip. En route home to Gastonia, the airport Fucked the drum up... the skin is ripped. I must re-head my djembe and I know little about it. Sorry to trouble you, but if you could give me any local advice where to go for supplies I would appreciate anything you can give. When I'm back and druming I would like to jam, if you know of any others interested I'd like to start a Circle somewhere near the River between Mecklenburg and Gaston County. We could use the rythm, this area is sick with the stress of man...need to Drum the troubles away. Take care, Dig your Web Site... Dan
